Branding with sparkling enhancement: LEONHARD KURZ launches new TTR product family NOVA
Fürth/Germany, February 29, 2024: For over 30 years, LEONHARD KURZ's thermal transfer ribbons have enabled high-quality labeling of labels and packaging. The TTR technology offers highly versatile applications with its three fields of use - ‘Communicating,’ ‘Branding,’ and ‘Protecting.’ Particularly with the ‘Branding’ segment, KURZ has elevated to the next level simple yet effective product labeling using TTR. From brilliant standard colors to impressive metallizations, KURZ's colorful thermal transfer ribbons transform necessary markings into true eye-catchers in individual brand design.
Perfectly integrated corporate design
The new product family NOVA complements the existing TTR portfolio and is classified as diffractive enhancement within the ‘Branding’ category. The decades-long expertise in surface finishing has been skillfully leveraged to provide genuine visual added value to the thermal transfer segment. With NOVA, plastic labels achieve fascinating, dynamic depth effects in flat-head printing.
With the new product family TTR NOVA and its 7 associated designs, KURZ is further advancing the TTR (R)Evolution. “With NOVA, we expand the diverse design possibilities for product labeling using TTR with additional unique options,” explains Thomas Galsterer, Sales & Marketing Manager TTR at KURZ. “The significant advantages of TTR printing are preserved even with the new designs. The TTR NOVA product family is adaptable, customizable, and perfectly suited for mass production.”
Cost-effective and easy to implement
Only a conventional flat-head printer is required for the application of the new enhancement. TTR NOVA thus presents a cost-effective and easy-to-implement solution for printing houses, brand owners, and product designers to enhance labels and packaging using existing equipment. There is no need for additional hot stamping or digital printing. TTR NOVA is particularly suitable for smooth surfaces such as polyethylene or polypropylene and is recommended for the durable labeling and enhancement of labels, credit cards, coated paper, and smooth plastic product packaging. As TTR NOVA is also overprintable, it opens up endless design possibilities, fitting the intergalactic setting of the new product family.
