KURZ will unveil a security decoration highlight, TRUSTCOLOR® Plus, which combines fascinating color shift effects with the optical 3D depth of TRUSTSEAL® SFX. Partnering with its subsidiary SCRIBOS, which develops reliable anti-counterfeiting solutions, KURZ will demonstrate how decorative elements can be combined with smart security features. One exhibit will be a high-end anti-aging cream packaging equipped with the innovative ValiGate® Zoom. ValiGate® Zoom merges SCRIBOS' trusted security technology with KURZ's holographic finishes, creating the first marketable holographic security feature that can be verified by anyone using a smartphone - without the need for an adapter, special app, or training. Its patented encryption algorithm provides instant product authenticity verification.

ValiGate® Zoom is serialized and ensures a high level of product security by combining digital and optical elements. It can be seamlessly integrated into printing processes via hot stamping or delivered as a pre-made label, offering brand owners flexibility and customization options.

Bundled Sustainability Features and Brand Value

With a new EU directive on the horizon, the Digital Product Passport (DPP) will soon be mandatory for most manufacturers. KURZ, in collaboration with its subsidiary KURZ Digital Solutions, has developed a solution that helps brands prepare now. The application enables the display of all relevant product information, including details about carbon footprint, resource consumption, and recyclability.

The DPP from KURZ can also store data that offers added value to consumers, such as instructions, tutorials, spare part catalogs, online warranty checks, or repair options. This solution helps strengthen customer loyalty. Furthermore, the DPP can be combined with KURZ’s physical security elements to effectively protect products from counterfeiting. How can aerosol cans be transformed into luxurious eye-catchers? KURZ’s subsidiary ISIMAT, a specialist in developing and manufacturing printing machines for tubes, glass, and plastic containers, will showcase its new foil2can process. This process combines high-gloss and matte brushed metal surfaces in a single production step, resulting in an elegant design that stands out with its glossy-matte contrast.

The ISIMAT-developed method integrates the patented inLINE FOILING® process into screen printing, ensuring not only an efficient but also a durable and high-quality finish. Visitors to the KURZ booth at LUXE PACK will be able to see the results for themselves, along with other exhibits such as cream jars and tubes demonstrating the potential of inLINE FOILING®. The process is especially suitable for the complex decoration of conical containers.

Precision Embossing with Impressive Effects

KURZ’s subsidiary Hinderer + Mühlich (H+M) will demonstrate the captivating tactile effects created through hot stamping, blind embossing, and print-supporting embossing. The specialist in high-quality, precision hot stamping tools will also present other impressive embossing techniques, including Micro- and NanoEmbossing. These methods incorporate the finest structures and patterns into the finish, creating unique holographic effects with optical depth. A particular highlight will be the combination of blind embossing, cold transfer, and digital finishing to produce striking optical highlights and refined tactile accents.
