Première Vision: LEONHARD KURZ sets new standards for textile decorations

Fürth/Germany, June 27, 2024: Whether for the creation of unique fashion looks or the sophisticated surface coating of functional protective clothing: KURZ is the right partner when cutting-edge technology is required for the creation of the latest trends in the textile industry. With this in mind, the specialist for premium textile finishing will once again be exhibiting at Première Vision, the trade fair for the textile and fashion industry in Paris, from July 2 to 4, 2024. Around 900 exhibitors from 39 countries will be presenting the latest developments in the industry - from raw materials, fabrics and fibers to manufacturing processes and textile designs.

With LUXOR^®/ALUFIN^® TX-A ST and LUMAFIN^® Clear, KURZ is presenting two finishing solutions this year that set new standards in textile decoration and give designers scope for unique creations based on cutting-edge technology. "For many, hot stamping in the textile sector is synonymous with large, chunky prints. Yet this technology is so versatile! It is precisely this multifaceted nature that we want to showcase with our trade fair appearance," explains Nicola Bauer, International Product Manager Textiles at KURZ.

Semi-transparent highlights with LUXOR^®/ALUFIN^® TX-A ST

With LUXOR^®/ALUFIN^® TX-A ST, KURZ shows where the journey in the textile sector is heading. In addition to classic large-scale printed decors, textile producers and processors can also easily implement designs with fine lines and delicate metallization using the innovative transfer finishes from the specialist in thin-film technology. Thanks to the special transparency of the product, the targeted staging of decorative highlights is also easily possible. LUXOR^®/ALUFIN^® TX-A ST is a finish that impresses with its vibrant colors. In combination with the selected textile fabrics, patterns and materials, LUXOR^®/ALUFIN^® TX-A ST creates the optical impression of depth and thus creates visually exciting effects. The finish is extremely resistant to washing and abrasion and, thanks to its special properties, is also suitable for dry cleaning.

LUMAFIN^® Clear for spectacular optics

KURZ is also bringing the new LUMAFIN^® Clear solution to Paris as another trade fair highlight. The transparent finish with iridescent effects creates a completely different visual effect depending on the textile substrate: With LUMAFIN^® Clear, under-printed designs can have a slight shimmer or a graceful matte-gloss effect with intense color at the same time - it appears as if they are protected behind glass and captivates with a graceful pearlescent effect. This makes it possible to create subtle highlights as well as special eye-catchers. At Première Vision, visitors will be able to see for themselves the wide range of design options that LUMAFIN^® Clear opens up by means of various exhibits.

Like all finishing solutions from KURZ, LUXOR^®/ALUFIN^® TX-A ST and LUMAFIN^® Clear are developed in accordance with the strictest quality standards and are free from harmful substances. They are therefore certified according to OEKO-TEX^® STANDARD 100 as particularly safe and harmless to health in the highest product class 1.
